Baby Girl Card!!! YAY!!!

As promised, here is that baby girl card I got to make. One of my husband's co-workers just had a baby girl with his wife, and I took the opportunity to make a rare girl card. I used SU's Simply Scrappin Pack, Island Blossoms, with a few large pink brads. It's a very simple card, but I really loved making it!! The stamp is also from SU, and I think it's from the set Greetings Galore. It says "Happy New Baby"

I'll be back soon with pictures of the projects I made for my boys' teachers for v-day!

Valentine's boxes for Mom

This year for Valentine's day, my mom wanted to give her mentoring ladies a small gift, so she asked if I could make small nugget boxes for them. Of course I said yes, so we went to the local scrapbooking store together and picked out paper. I made 20 boxes for her, 2x2 size (that's how many nuggets fit). For the top, I stamped on a small piece of Whisper White cardstock from Stampin Up. The stamp set I used if True Friend from SU, the background flower was stamped in Groovy Guava, and the sentiment in Chocolate Chip, I also inked the edges of both the mat and the WW with Chocolate Chip. The sentiment says, "A true FRIEND IS YOU FRIEND." I matted that onto a guava-ish paper that was used for the base of the box, then mounted it to the top of the slider part with SU large glue dots, to give it dimension. The nuggets are covered in a striped paper. These pics are of the basket of the boxes, so you can see how many I made, and then a close up to hopefully show a little more detail.

Today I'm going to be trying to make as many boxes and such as I can, I have a last minute craft sale opportunity for next weekend and I don't have much made for it! Time to make as much as I can as fast as I can!!!

Homemade Valentines

This is going to be a quickie...just wanted to post the valentine's cards my boys made for their classmates. They each chose a stamp from SU's Happy Heart Day that I stamped onto a small quare piece of Whisper White paper, then they colored them, taped them onto a small piece of patterned paper I got last year in a V-day pack, then taped them to the card front. The inside is stamped, "To someone with a very big heart!" also from Happy Heart Day. I put a large flower eyelet on each card...very easy to do thanks to my new Crop-a-Dile!!!

First up is Alexander, almost 7 years old, who had the most cards to make. He also took the most time coloring because he wanted them just perfect.

Next is Robert, 5 years old, who was pretending to be a kitty and hissing at me in the picture "because kitties don't want their pictures taken!"

Last but not least is Markus, 3 1/2 years old, with his cards. He loves it when mommy gets out the stamping stuff and lets him play!

I'll be back in a few days (or weeks as it's been going!!!)...I've got lots of pictures of things I've made lately!!!
